Municipal historical museum in Verkhovazh’ye
The house where the museum was founded is a former manor of Victor Yurenskiy, a monument of architecture (a wooden 2-storeyed building). The exposition is placed in 6 halls representing the history of Verkhovazh’ye land from the end of the XIX – beginning of XX centuries. The most valuable (unique) collections: Archive of the Timofei Azhgibkov (1914-1994), diaries (1951-1994), manuscripts, collections, craftworks, pictures and letters.
