A bell-ringing festival in Totma, an ancient city of the Vologda Region will draw bell-ringers from Russia and France
The bell-ringing festival in Totma will be held on Christmas Eve, January 6th-7th.
The traditional Christmas bell-ringing is organized by the administration of Totma District and the Totma Museum Association. The festival itself, though short (it will last for two days), will be intense and stressful. Over ten bell-ringers from such Russian regions as Vologda, Ryazan, St.Petersburg, Pskov, Kargopol and France will participate in the event.
Residents of Totma and guests to the city will be able to enjoy bell compositions during New Year holidays.
