Vologda enters top three cities of Russia’s North-West for tourism
The city of Vologda takes the third place in the list of most popular destinations in Russia's North-West, according to a study conducted by e-service for searching hotels Tvil.ru.
The study, which searched for the most popular and affordable options for tourists, compiled its results based on the number of hotel reservations.
The top three of the rating includes such Russian most popular cities as St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Vologda.
Vologda has much to offer the discerning visitor. Vologda has a remarkable place on Russia's tourist map. With a unique cultural and historical heritage, the city, abundant with architectural monuments and arts, has great tourism potential.
