Russian-Italian Film Festival of the Art, Documentary and Short Film (RIFF) is to start in Vologda at Salyut Cinema House on April 5-11
The demonstration of ten Italian films in Vologda will be held on April 5-11 in Salyut cinema house. All films will be shown in original language with Russian subtitles.
The uniqueness of the RIFF film festival is that its program covers all categories of Italian cinema: from box-office films-winners of influential world film festivals to documentary works about urgent social problems, from collections of short films to animated films, from debut films of young directors to retrospectives of classics of Italian cinematography. Vologda’s audience will be able to see different movies ranging from feature to documentary to short films.
This project seems very interesting. Vologda’s residents love Italian movies and will be glad to watch them. The goal of the event is to strengthen cultural exchange between Italy and Russia. The festival presents both films of Italian directors, shown at various regional festivals in Italy.
