Vologda will host VII International music competition named after Valery Gavrilin on April 22-27
The festival is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda.
The international competition is organized by the RF Ministry of Culture with an active backing of the Vologda Oblast Government. The main objective of the event is to reveal new talents and to perpetuate the memory of Valery Gavrilin.
The competition is held in several different categories including piano, violin, cello, academic singing, accordion, pop music and musical composition.
