Famous Vologda’s photographer Abraham Bam died at age of 90
The talented master and wonderful person died on November 23. Abraham Bam is a
photographer and artist of Vologda, a creator of the photo chronicle of Vologda,
a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
Abraham Bam was born in Vologda. During the Great Patriotic War, he served in
the cypher offices of various brigades and divisions. Then he returned to his
native Vologda and worked as a photographer.
He was awarded the title “Honorary freeman of Vologda” for longstanding and
fruitful professional and creative work in 2001.
The photo artist participated in many exhibitions and took pictures of thousands
of local residents.
It should be added that Abraham Bam would be 91 in three months – on February 1,
2014.
