All World is Theatre!
Annual theatrical premiums award ceremony named in honour of M.Shchuko,
A.Semenov, A.Badaev « For the best roles of 2009 » traditionally took place
in the Vologda drama theatre on March, 27 - on the International Theatre Day.
The celebratory performance which was the main theatrical event of the year,
gathered all the actors of Vologda on its biggest theatrical stage for the
sixteenth time. The event was organized by the Vologda Oblast Department of
Culture and Protection of Objects of Cultural Heritage together with the
Regional branch of the Union of Theatrical Workers of Russia. Each theatre
specially for this evening prepared an original performanceкапустник, and
the Vologda branch of the Union of Theatrical Workers of Russia made
surprises for public and actors. The musical - patriotic Utopia in ten
dreams with the sound name « All World is Theatre », which created
celebratory mood and gave really unusual impressions to all present was
presented to the judges of theatrical art!
The right to open the envelope and to announce the results of the
competition was given to the Head of the Department of regional programs of
the Union of Theatrical Workers of the Russian Federation Irina Antonova.
As a result the premium of named after A.Semenov « For the Best Lead Actor
of 2009 » was awarded to the honored artist of Russia Alexander Mezhov for
the part of Harry in the performance « Last love (In the shadow of the
vineyard) » the Vologda Regional Theatre for Children and Youth.
The A.Semenov premium « For the Best Supporting Actor of 2009 » was awarded
to the honored artist of Russia Oleg Yemelyanov for the part of Yusov in the
performance « the Profitable position » Vologda State Drama Theatre.
The M.Shchuko premium « For the Best Supporting Actress of 2009 » was
awarded to the actress Oksana Kiselyova for the part of Vyshnevskaya in the
performance « the Profitable position » Vologda State Drama Theatre.
Winners of the Kira Osipova premium « For long-term sincere service to the
children's spectator » of 2010: the actress of the Vologda State Drama
Theatre, the honoured actress of Russia Natalia Vorobyeva, the actor of the
Vologda Regional Theatre for Children and Youth, the honored artist of
Russia Vyacheslav Teplov; the actress of the Vologda Regional Puppet Theatre
"Teremok" Tatyana Sukhanova.
The premium « the Favourite of the children's public » was given to the
actress of the Vologda Regional Puppet Theatre "Teremok" Natalia Burlova.
The prize « the Diamond Hand » went to the actress Marina Mizina for the
role of Khanuma in the performance "Khanuma" of the Vologda Regional Pupet
Theatre "Teremok".
« Audience Prize » after « All World is Theatre! » spectators' voting went
to the actor of «Own Theatre », the honored artist of Russia Vsevolod
Chubenko.
In 2010 the list of the premiums awarded on the Theater Day bacame more
numerous. Between February, 15 and March, 20 there was held an Internet -
voting during which spectators of the Oblast voted for their favourite actor.
At that celebratory evening the results of the first Vologda regional
Internet - competition "Sympathy" - 2009 which was organized by the Vologda
Oblast Department of Culture and Protection of Objects of Cultural Heritage,
the Vologda regional branch of the all-Russian public organization « Union
of Theatrical Workers of the Russian Federation » were announced, the
competition was held under patronage of the Vologda Oblast Governor
V.E.Pozgalev.
Also Irina Gorozhanovoa, the honoured art worker of Russia, the
vice-president of Vologda branch of the Union if Theatrical Workers of the
Russian Federation was given the highest award of the Union of Theatrical
Workers - the Gold sign - for active public work and for devoted service in
the Union of Theatrical Workers of the Russian Federation.
