• The producer Zurab Nanobashvili (the performance of the Vologda State Drama Theater awarded with the Badge of Honour “The Karamazovs and the Hell”) for producer’s interpretation of the philosophical novel by F. Dostoevsky with methods of the square mystery theatre.
• The cast of the performance of the Samara Youth Theatre-Centre “SamArt” “Vasily Terkin” (the production by the Honoured Art Worker of Russian Federation Alexander Kuzin) for creation of the single image of the Russian soldier in the Great Patriotic War.
• The performance of the Republic Theatre of the Byelorussian Dramaturgy (Minsk, the Republic of Belarus) “An Age-Long Song” (the production by Sergey Kovalchik) for the poetical embodiment of fortune of the Byelorussian nation.

The jury decided not to award the Prize named after the People’s Artist of the RSFSR A.V. Semenov***.

• The Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Pavel Kurochkin for the character of tsar Fedor Ioannovich in the performance of the Moscow State Drama “Vedogon-Theatre” (Zelenograd) “Tsar Fedor Ioannovich” (the production by the Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation Alexander Kuzin).
• Petr Vasilyev for the character of Boris Fedorovich Godunov in the performance of the Moscow State Drama “Vedogon-Theatre” (Zelenograd) “Tsar Fedor Ioannovich” (the production by the Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation Alexander Kuzin).
• The Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Vitaliy Stuzhev for the character of Andrey Petrovich Lup-Kleshnin in the performance of the Moscow State Drama “Vedogon-Theatre” (Zelenograd) “Tsar Fedor Ioannovich” (the production by the Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation Alexander Kuzin).

* During the International Theatre Festival “Voices of History” two professional contests take place. It is a competition between performances in the open air and a competition between performances in doors. According to the conception of the festival the contest of performances in the open air is the main one: only these performances have a possibility to get the Main Prize of the “Voices of History” – the Mask. The jury awards five main prizes, among those there are two prizes – the Prize named after A.P. Svobodin and the Prize named after the People’s Artist of the RSFSR A.V. Semenov. Performances in doors are awarded with special prizes.
In 2007 the jury decided not to award a prize named after the People’s Artist of the RSFSR A.V. Semenov.
** Svobodin Alexander Petrovich (1922-99), the Russian theatre critic. He collaborated with the magazine “Theatre”. Author of works about the modern theatre (books “Theatre Meetings”, 1965; “Seeable Time”, 1975; “Dialogues about the Modern Theatre”, 1979; “Theatre Square”, 1981, and others), about actors – I.M. Smoktunovsky, O.N. Efremov, M.A. Ulyanov, of the drama chronicle “Narodovoltsy” (“Members of the “Narodnaya Volya”). One of the authors of the conception of the festival “Voices of History”.
