Vologda will become home to II International Lace Festival VITA LACE on June, 26-28 2014

The 2nd International Lace Festival VITA LACE is indicated by the Vologda Oblast Government as one of the priority cultural events in 2014.

This year the Festival will be devoted to the 22nd Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Vologda’s laces were used in the Olympic patchwork quilt.

The scope of the event will be impressive. Trade visitors from Russian regions, from France, Belgium, Denmark and Bulgaria are expected to attend it.

During the day. Arrival of participants, guests and official delegations. Accommodation. Assembling of the exposition "Lace of Olympus" at the Vologda Kremlin

Thursday, June 26
9.00 - 17.00 - Organization of exhibition and fair activities on Kremlin Square.
9.00 - 11.00 - Exposition "Lace of Olympus" at the Vologda Kremlin.
13.00 - 14.00 - Opening of the exhibition "Lace of Olympus" by Valentin Yudashkin, Russia's most famous fashion designer.
16.00 - 18.00 - Photo exhibition "International Lace Festival Vita Lace-2014" (Vologda Kremlin), exposition "Lace of Olympus" (Vologda Kremlin), and exhibition "Folk Art of Ryazan Region" (Vologda Lace Museum).
18.00 - 20.00 - Opening of the 2nd International Lace Festival Vita Lace-2014.

Friday, June 27
10.00 - 17.00 - Exhibition and fair activities on Kremlin Square.
10.00 - 12.00 - Movement "Lace Heart of the Olympic Games".
14.00 - 15.30 - Round-table discussion "Lace in the Modern World".
16.00 - 17.00 - Lace Fashion Show.

12.00 - 14.00 - Awarding of winners of the International Flax Festival on Kremlin Square.
