At the exhibition one could see 60 works of 22 authors including leading artists, drawing artists, foremen of fine and applied arts, members of Vologda regional department of Union of Russian Artists: V.N.Korbakov, People’s Artist of the RF, acting member of Russian Academy of Arts, Honorary Artists of the RF O.A.Borozdin, Y.A.Voronov,M.V.Kopiev, Y.S.Korobov, N.I.Mishusta, O.V.Pahomov, V.N. Strahov, V.I.Sisoev, A.I.Savin and others.
Exhibition “Vologda artists in Strasburg” is initiated and financially sponsored by Vologda city Authorities within the framework of agreement about Vologda Oblast and France cooperation. The exhibition coordinators and administrators were Ljubov Sosnina, Honoured Cultural Worker of the RF and Nikolai Mishusta, Honoured Artist of Russia and chairman of Voronezh Regional Department of All-Russian Creative Public Organization.
The opening of the exhibition was dated to the business visit of Vologda delegation to France. French people could not only meet professional arts of our city for the first time but also they could see special colour of Russian North, which was emotionally transferred through the landscapes and issue-related compositions of Vologda artists.
Exhibition “Vologda Artists in Strasburg” in exhibition complex “Obett” will be working till 23 April 2012.
